Steel City Volleyball League (SCVL)

The Steel City Volleyball League (SCVL) offers a fun and friendly atmosphere for recreational and competitive volleyball among Pittsburgh’s gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and straight ally community.

Steel City Softball League (SCSL)

The Steel City Softball League began in 1981 and remains the longest running LGBT sports organizations in the Pittsburgh area. The league provides an atmosphere for individuals to be themselves without fear of discrimination and is open to all members and friends of the LGBT community of Pittsburgh.

Steel City Bowling League (SCBL)

Steel City Bowling League is Pittsburgh’s premiere alternative lifestyle sports league.  We create a welcoming space for the Pittsburgh area’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their allies.  So, you don’t have to be gay to join SCBL because we welcome all people to become members of one of the most entertaining and energetic leagues in Pittsburgh.

Stonewall Sports

An LGBTQ & Ally not-for-profit adult sports league. Our primary goal is to create an increasingly connected and diverse LGBTQ community by providing additional spaces for people to meet and socialize: namely through organized competition and associated social and fundraising events.

Pittsburgh Frontrunners

Pittsburgh Frontrunners is an active running club for Pittsburgh’s gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community. Friends, family, allies and pets are encouraged to join us as well. We run for good health, training for races, and to participate in gay-friendly social activities.

Gay Ice Hockey

We are hockey fans, players, and friends in the Pittsburgh area who want to create an open and supportive environment for gay, lesbian, bi, and transgender hockey.  We play in leagues in the local area, participate in road tournaments, get together to watch games and just love the game of hockey.  And we’re always looking for more to join us.

Qrew

The Qrew Team is an LGBTQ and Ally team that trains and competes in Three Rivers Rowing Association’s Summer Rowing League. Each team has 12 members. We row, we drink, we eat and we socialize. It’s a great way to meet awesome people and enjoy the rivers of Pittsburgh in a unique way.

The mission of the Steel City Volleyball League (SCVL) is to provide LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersexual, Asexual, other sexualities) people along with LGBTQIA+ allies an opportunity to learn, play, and grow in the organized sport of recreational and competitive volleyball. Our volleyball league is open to adults regardless of sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, livelihood, culture, race, religion, or ethnicity; and without regard for volleyball ability, skill, or experience. We are an inclusive league valuing the respect and dignity of others and, expect the same from anyone who would like to join our league.
