NAGVA Rules and Regulations

*NAGVA Rules and Regulations will be enforced at the Steel City Classic.
*No teams will be allowed to play their fist games until registration for all is complete. This includes signed waivers, tournament and NAGVA fees.
*Each team must have registration completed prior to Pool Play on Saturday morning. Late registration will end at 9:00AM. Any exceptions must be approved by the Tournament Director or Registrar.
*All players must compete during Saturday’s Pool Play to be eligible for elimination play on Sunday.
*The playing facility is Monroeville Sports Center, located 2 minutes from the host hotel. This is a four (4) court facility with a concession stand – numerous restaurants are minutes away.

Referees and Scorekeepers

*Each team is responsible for the full officiating crew for Pool Play matches on Saturday. For each Sunday match, there will be USAV Officials for Tournament Play. If you do not have a certified Referee or Scorekeeper for Saturday, you will have to pay $40 per match to have a referee and $40 per match to have a scorekeeper. The tournament Committee will make every attempt to help your team find a certified Referee or Scorekeeper, but it is ultimately your team’s responsibility to have a certified Referee, or to find one.

*If one of your players needs to complete his/her practical upref evaluation on Saturday, it is your team captain's responsibility to inform a tournament official (director, gym manager, or head referee) during which match the evaluation will need to take place. Please send an email scvlben@gmail.com with the subject "SCC Upref Evaluation" before Saturday November 5th or inform a tournament official before pool play starts on Saturday morning.

*There will be no Referee or Scorekeeper clinics at this year's Steel City Classic.
